This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Leveluphired sets when you use leveluphired.com, what each one does, and how you can control them. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a web server. They allow the server to recognise your device on subsequent requests. Similar technologies include localStorage (used to store your consent record in your browser) and sessionStorage.
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and GDPR, cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you have requested do not require prior consent. All other cookies require freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent before being set.
Leveluphired sets strictly necessary cookies without asking. Analytics cookies are optional: they are set only after you choose to allow them. We do not set any other non-essential cookies today, and we will update this policy and ask for consent before introducing any.
These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled.

Leveluphired uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7TSBC4C79W), provided by Google LLC, to understand which pages are visited and how the service is used. It is loaded only after you allow analytics in the cookie banner, and never when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Until then no Google Analytics script runs and no Google Analytics cookie is set. Our tag turns off Google Signals and ad personalisation.

If you withdraw consent with "Cookie preferences" in the footer, these cookies are deleted from your device. Server-side usage logs (page views, feature interactions, error logs) are separate: they are retained for 90 days on our own infrastructure and are not shared with analytics platforms.
Leveluphired does not show ads today and does not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any advertising, retargeting, or cross-site marketing cookies or pixels. We do not engage in behavioural advertising.
We plan to apply to show ads from Google AdSense. If ads are ever shown, they would appear only on these kinds of pages:
Before any ad is shown we will update this policy and the cookie banner, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. Google and its partners may then place and read cookies, or use web beacons and IP addresses, to serve and measure ads. You will be able to opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info.
Apart from Google Analytics, which sets cookies only if you allow analytics, and the payment checkout described below, we do not set third-party cookies when you use the Leveluphired platform. Our AI sub-processors (Google Gemini, AssemblyAI) are called via server-to-server API requests from our backend, so they do not set cookies in your browser.
When you go to pay on the credits page, Razorpay's checkout is loaded. It is run by Razorpay, may set its own cookies to process and secure your payment, and is governed by Razorpay's privacy policy. It is not loaded on other pages.
On your first visit, a consent banner is displayed at the bottom of the page. You can choose "Accept all", "Reject non-essential", or "Manage" to set individual preferences. You can revisit your choices at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
You can control or delete all cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling the authentication session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in. Browser-specific instructions:
Because almost everything we set is strictly necessary, the effects of clearing cookies are limited and predictable. If you delete the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_G-7TSBC4C79W), Google Analytics treats your next visit as a new visitor, and only if you have allowed analytics. If you delete the rz_session cookie, you will be logged out and will need to sign in again; nothing in your account is lost. If you delete the sidebar_state cookie, the sidebar simply returns to its default position on your next visit. If you clear localStorage, your recorded cookie consent choice is removed, so the consent banner will appear again on your next visit and ask you to choose again. None of these actions affects your saved resumes, interview history, credits, or any other account data, because that data is stored on our servers against your account and not in your browser.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal with each request. Analytics is opt-in, so we do not use Do Not Track for it: nothing runs until you allow it. We do honour Global Privacy Control: when your browser sends it, Google Analytics is never loaded, even if you click "Accept all". We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce other non-essential cookies, we will treat a GPC signal as a valid objection where the law requires it, in addition to asking for consent through the banner.
We will update this Cookie Policy before introducing any new cookies or tracking technologies. Material changes will be notified via the consent banner and in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
